We were sitting in a cafe in Brussels two years ago – my sister K. and I – when we first talked about sharing our thoughts on life in some more permanent form. Flipping over a pink, paper placemat the ideas for this site came into being. Given how terrible I am at prioritizing anything not directly related to my work or daily life – let alone myself – it’s taken a while to get to this point. However, here I am, a non-writer, putting into words my random and often too quick and fading thoughts into place for my family. Bug and Bout, this is for you so that someday when you have time, or are there to listen or remember, my thoughts and stories will be there for you with the balancing perspective of a variety of other life players in our little world of craziness!

For you both, and all those I love – I WILL stop moving ‘too fast for my hair’ and actually stop, reflect and share with those so important to me the joys and challenges in life!
